Ivy and Hunt

This past summer I had the honor of working with an amazingly sweet bride and friend--she was the best first official client a girl could have! Ivy and Hunt Prothro created a beautiful wedding at Work Play in downtown Birmingham.  The wedding was bright, festive, and leaned towards the modern end of the spectrum.  It was a blast and convinced me even more that I am doing exactly what I am supposed to be doing! I LOVE FLOWERS! Ok.  Sorry for the outburst.  But I do.

The flowers in the wedding were green hydrangeas, yellow billy balls, white and purple ranunculus, pink spray roses, pink garden roses, white anemones, coral cockscomb, and an aspidistra accent.  I also enjoyed adding a few sprigs of ivy into the mix in honor of the beautiful bride! The bright saturated colors increased the modern feel and played extremely well off the plum bridesmaids dresses and charcoal suits.

Can't wait to show more work!
